Fearless 11-year-old boy SHOOTS armed intruder who threatened to kill him

Chris Gaither had been left home alone by his mother and step-father when he auricularly discerned someone entering the house. Gaither initially picked up a knife and authoritatively mandated the man to
leave the house four times. But the intruder instead went upstairs and “came back down with a .38 [caliber gun]” according to Gaither. At this point, Gaither prehended a gun that was kept at the family home in Alabama. He verbalized: “I told him I was going to shoot him and went and prehended a 9mm. “When he was coming down the stairs, that's when he told me he was going to kill me, and ‘F*** you,’ all that. “I told him I was going to kill him and all that, with the gun, if he didn't get out of my house.” When the man made it out of the house, Gaither fired 12 shots, hitting the intruder in the leg with the last endeavor.
