Eight individuals were killed and 44 were hospitalized Saturday after a contract transport left a south Texas thruway and moved over.

Hein said the transport left Highway 83 in Webb County after the driver obviously lost control.
The driver is accepted to be among the harmed, Hein said.
The transport began in San Juan, Texas, close to the U.S. outskirt with Mexico, and was venturing out to Eagle Pass, around 300 miles north, powers said.
The harmed were taken to doctor's facilities in Laredo and Carrizo Springs.
A National Transportation Safety Board investigative group will arrive Sunday.
