Groups of animal activists held vigil at Cincinnati Zoo to honour Slain Gorilla.
News reaching us from our correspondent this afternoon says some groups of animal activists converged at the Cincinnati Zoo to conduct a vigil for the killed Gorilla.
The Gorilla which had earlier attack a four year boy was shot by the officers on duty.
The vigil was conducted in remembrance of the gorilla who was fatally shot to protect a 4-year-old boy who had fallen into its exhibit.
Dozens of people who graced the occasion on Monday afternoon were standing outside of the Zoo with their placards that reads "Rest in Peace Harambe."
The Vigil organizer Anthony Seta (SAY'-tuh) of Cincinnati proclaimed the 17-year-old western lowland gorilla's death has "a senseless tragedy." But he says the purpose of the vigil isn't to point fingers but to pay tribute to Harambe.
