Lightning kills farmer, 3 carabaos.
A 53-year-old farmer and his three carabaos died after being struck by lightning in Barangay Dabubu Grande in San Agustin, Isabela on Wednesday.
The incident occurred while Merlino Pascual was herding his carabaos to shelter during a thunderstorm around 5 p.m.
Last week, a government forester died while four of his companions were hospitalized after being struck by lightning while inspecting a reforestation project in Rizal, Cagayan.
