The accident happened around 5:30 a.m. in the area near 96th Street and Keystone Avenue.
The SUV was turning onto 96th Street when the collision occurred.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the driver of the SUV was transported to St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital with chest pains. She was alert on the way to the hospital.
IMPD said the driver of the truck was not injured in the accident.
Clean up of the scene is expected to take some time.
