Woman murdered in Britain's exclusive 'Beverly Hills' estate.
The woman, named locally as Sonita Nijhawan, 38, was found at her £1.8m home by police and paramedics.
The incident happened on Saturday next to the upmarket St George's Hill area of Weybridge where neighbours say she lived with her husband Sanjay, an investment banker.
Detective Chief Inspector Jason Taylor said: "The investigation into this tragic incident is still in the very early stages but at this time I believe this to be an isolated incident, with no wider threat to the local community."
Neighbours said the couple had recently moved in following a long-awaited six-year project to build their dream home.
A neighbour, who did not want to be named, told The Mail on Sunday: "Sonita and Sanjay seemed like a really lovely young British Indian couple.
St George's Hill is a private, gated community where six-bedroom homes are listed for around £14 million.
The sprawling 964-acre estate is described on the St George's Hill Residents' Association website as having been "designed for driven, motivated and successful high achievers" and is complete with a Golf club and Tennis club.
