Aisha Buhari Goes Off On Fayose On Twitter

The First Lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari seemed to have gotten fed up with the provocative antics of Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State and she made that clear via Twitter.

The first lady’s account tweeted that she refuses to keep quiet, and Fayose is a mad dog that refuses to be chained.

The tweets were promptly taken down after a few minutes. A statement or apology has not yet been issued from the office of the First Lady.

The Ekiti State Governor has been at the forefront of personal attacks against the First Family. During the 2015 Election campaign, he sponsored an ad
implying that Muhammadu Buhari might soon die . The governor has also consistently reiterated that Aisha Buhari was married off as a minor making the President a pedophile, despite this being false.

Meanwhile, Nigerians on Twitter are criticizing the First Lady for her lack of tact in handling Governor Fayose’s provocation.
