Muslims start dawn-to-dusk fast today

Following the sighting of the crescent moon last night, Ramadan has started for our Muslim brethren, who will commence their fasting today
(Monday) from dawn to dusk for a complete period of one month.
They will also fully abstain from drinking, fighting, gossip and marital sex, and any other unusual things that serve as obstacle before their prayer.
