Federal Government Mapped out New Strategies to Rescue Chibok Girls

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has disclosed that the Federal Government is planning to launch a new bid to rescue the missing Chibok schoolgirls.

He said that the previous attempt to rescue the girls was aborted by the infighting among Boko Haram terrorists and those who serve as middlemen and use the opportunity to exploit the whole process.

It would be recalled that the schoolgirls were abducted from Government Secondary School in Chibok by Boko Haram insurgents in 2014. Ever since, a pressure group, #BringBackOurGirls, BBOG group has been formed, piling pressure on the government to do more in seeing to the safe return of the missing girls.
