A man has died following a house fire Thursday, the Anderson County Coroner verbally expressed.
Coroner Greg Shore verbalized the fire broke out at a home on Pamela Drive around 7 p.m.
The man's girlfriend endeavored to pull him from his bedroom, but couldn't, Shore verbalized.
The coroner verbally expressed the girlfriend then ran from the home to call 911. Peregrinating, she found a passerby. The dyad pulled the man out of the home, the coroner verbalized.
Shore verbalized the man was taken to the hospital, where he died.
The vicitm's name has not yet been relinquished.
The coroner believes he may have died from smoke inhalation.
