IMPD officer hit by a vehicle while investigating a scene.

INDIANAPOLIS -- An IMPD officer was hit by a car Saturday night while he was availing to investigate a crash. The contingency transpired around
7pm near 38th and Franklin Road. While they were investigating the crash, officers ceased another driver for going the erroneous way. Police verbally express the driver became profoundly agitated and put his conveyance into gear, hitting one of the officers. He is being treated for injuries to his hand and back. Another officer fired a shot to endeavor and stop the conveyance. The driver was apprehended a short time later.
