Fresh Kano fire kills three, razes filling station

Another fire outbreak hit Kano on Wednesday and killed three persons and razed a filling station and a fuel tanker. The filling station, owned by A. A. Rano, a popular petroleum products marketer on Bompai Road, adjacent to the Grand Central Hotel, was thoroughly razed.
Eyewitnesses verbally expressed the fire disaster, which transpired at about 2pm, commenced when a fuel tanker was discharging fuel into the filling station’s underground tank. One of the eyewitnesses verbalized, “In the process of discharging petrol into the underground tank, there was a spark and the tanker caught fire. The timely intervention of security agents averted the Manager of the filling station from jumping into the fire to rescue Ali. Besides, the timely advent of the security operatives additionally averted hoodlums from looting the fuel station Withal, the fire, which raged for about two and half hours, burnt six conveyances to ashes, while a building proximate to the filling station, kenned as Visa House, was additionally torched.
