Nine-year-old kid lethally shot in Cumberland

Police in Cumberland are still trying to figure out what led up to a shooting that killed a nine-year-old boy Friday afternoon.


Officers found the young victim at the Berkshire Square Apartments in the 500 Block of Wickerwood Drive.

Expression of Anthony Harmon Jr's. demise spread rapidly through the flat complex where he lived Friday evening, shaking different guardians to the center when they learned he was shot in the head.

"It's awful. I have a little girl turning nine this year and I have another little girl who's turning four," said father Clinton Farwell.

At the point when police got to Harmon's home, he was dead and police found a few other kids and high schoolers there, yet no grown-ups.

"We're managing adolescents and we need to find guardians with a specific end goal to converse with them," said Cumberland Police Chief Mike Crooke.
