4 dead in Isabela mishap.
TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – Four persons died when their tricycle collided with a bus in Ilagan City, Isabela on Saturday night.
Leonardo Ander, 39; Elmer Ignacio, 29; Malito Manalo, 39, and Jerome Galasinao, 33, were traveling in Barangay Alibagu when their tricycle slammed into a G.V. Florida bus at around 10 p.m. , according to city police chief Superintendent Manuel Bringas.
The victims were on their way home from a drinking session. It was not known who was driving the tricycle.
Bus driver Joseph Pasaraba, 50, of Lal-lo, Cagayan was arrested by responding police officers.
Meanwhile, in Antipolo City, John Angel Lapenas and Chris Allen Lagto died in separate motorcycle accidents in the villages of Bagong Nayon and Mambugan, respectively.
Lapenas’ passenger, Romy Landenia, and Lagto's girlfriend, Trianlyn Fontanilla, were taken to hospitals for treatment.
