Father charged in daughter's hot car death out on bond

A 25-year-old Mississippi man prosecuted for homicide after his 8-month-old girl passed on in his hot auto while he worked has been discharged on bond.

Joshua Blunt's lawyer, Carlos Moore, tells The Associated Press that those in the group raised the $15,000 safeguard set by Circuit Judge George Mitchell.

Blunt showed up Tuesday before Mitchell in Grenada County and argued not liable.

He was discharged late Wednesday from the Grenada County correctional facility after Moore says they posted $1,575.

Blunt's infant, Shania Rihanna Caradine, kicked the bucket May 19, eight days after another youthful kid passed on in a hot auto in another Mississippi district.

The mother in the other case was not captured.

Madison County District Attorney Michael Guest said he wants to present that case to a fabulous jury in August.
